Preparing a landscape plan for a planning permit application consists of the following elements

Consultation

Wendy & Kate will arrange to meet you to discuss, the site and your plans. This consultation ensures the design outcome responds to your needs, the budget and guidelines for the permit.

Fee Proposal

After the initial consultation we will refine the design brief and prepare a fee proposal for your approval. The fee proposal outlines the specific services we will provide, the deliverables (plans and drawings and estimates) and the fees associated with each stage.

Sketch Design and Design Development

Once the fee proposal is approved we will collate any base plan information, measure your site and prepare sketch designs and concepts. These concepts provide a range of ideas and solutions for your landscape.

When the sketch concept has been adopted we will develop the design to incorporate any feedback from you, finalise the layout, include greater detail about the materials, and provide a plant palette and an estimate of the construction costs.

Documentation

The design is drafted with all the construction details and materials specifications required for construction including a planting plan identifying plant species, quantities, sizes and locations. We will work with builders and architects to ensure any structural elements are resolved

Construction

We have an established network of landscape contractors, builders and consultants who will build your landscape. Our hands on approach guarantees any minor changes to the design or the planting can be easily implemented

Maintenance

Maintaining your beautiful landscape in the early stages is a key to its success. We incorporate an initial 4-6 weeks of maintenance into the project. After that time we can provide a maintenance program or develop one with a recommended landscape maintenance contractor.
